The Snark Side is a guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic. We are a Republic guild on the Juyo Canderous Ordo Jedi Covenant server, and we focus on current end-game content (Raids/Ops).
The Snark Side is a guild comprised of adults who have real life responsibilities. We raid only a few nights a week and make the most of that limited raid time. We are limited by the amount of time we can play, but raiders are expected to compensate for that lack of time by being responsible about studying and making raiding (and being ready to raid) a priority.
Because many of us do not have that much time to play, we are diligent about scheduling and respecting each others’ time. We treat in-game commitments as we would any social event. Though Real Life obviously comes first, we are courteous to, and respect the time of, our fellow guild mates as we would any of our friends in real life.
Our atmosphere is one of encouragement and civility, while not hiding from speaking up when issues need to be addressed. We expect our members to be self-sufficient in their attempts at progression and improvement, as well as working out inter-personal issues. However, we value a team approach and encourage knowledge sharing, open discussion of performance (whether it’s our own or a team mate’s) and engendering a strong sense of camaraderie.
